- No Browsing History: The extension does not record, track, or upload any URLs or websites you visit. All evaluation of website blocking is done locally in your browser memory.
- No Keystroke Logging: We do not log inputs, answers to math equations, or any browser interactions.
2. Local Data Management
All settings and custom parameters configuration are saved strictly on your local device:
- Your custom blocklist domains are saved securely inside your browser's local sandbox environment using the
chrome.storage.localAPI. - This data remains private on your machine and is never shared, transferred, or uploaded to any third-party databases.
3. Third-Party Payments (Dodo Payments)
FocusGate uses Dodo Payments as a third-party merchant processor to securely handle Pro plan purchases and manage billing workflows. When upgrading to the Pro Lifetime plan:
- Payments are processed securely directly on Dodo Payments' platform. FocusGate does not access or store credit card numbers, billing addresses, or payment credentials.
- To activate Pro features, you enter a license key. FocusGate communicates with the secure Dodo Payments API (
https://live.dodopayments.com) to verify the license key status. This transaction verifies the validity of the purchase only and contains no tracking data.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to align with store compliance or policy updates. Any adjustments will be posted directly on this page.
